Do I absolutely need a point-of-sale system?
Currently, there is no requirement for point-of-sale systems in Germany. This means you can also use what is known as an “open cash register.” However, the disadvantages are obvious: You have less control and transparency, and no support functions for your bookkeeping. Legislators are also planning to introduce a “mandatory cash register requirement” in 2027 for businesses exceeding certain revenue thresholds. If legislators tighten the current regulations, you’ll avoid having to retrofit your system later if you choose one of our POS solutions now.

Do bluepos® point-of-sale systems require an internet connection?
Our bluepos® point-of-sale systems can generally be used without a network connection. Our Swissbit TSE also operates entirely offline. However, digital online services and the processing of cashless payments necessarily require an active Internet connection.

Do bluepos® POS systems comply with tax regulations?
SCHULTES bluepos® point-of-sale systems are GoBD-certified and, of course, meet all requirements of the KassenSichV.
